ALBION Hawaiʻi Keiki Academy Program
ALBION Hawaii's Keiki Academy program is a unique opportunity to introduce your 4, 5, and 6-year-old to the beautiful game of soccer. The 6-Week developmental program is offered four times per year and designed by ALBION Hawaiʻi Keiki Academy Director Mike Adrian as a fun-filled introduction to soccer.
Children are encouraged to grow developmental, physical, and social abilities through creative soccer games, agility drills, and guided scrimmages. In addition, each Keiki Academy player will learn the skills (ball control, dribbling, turning, and the game's rules.
Social: Grasp essential life lessons such as respecting their teammates and coaches, the significance of listening during instruction, and the importance of teamwork.
Physical: Develop motor skills, balance, flexibility, and agility.
Psychological: Be motivated and inspired by soccer through this encouraging and fun environment.
Technical: Understand the fundamental rules of the sport - not to use their hands, understand the boundaries of the field, to become familiar with the direction of play.
Player Expectations: Players are provided a Capelli ALBION Hawaii training kit with a paid registration. We expect players to wear their ALBION training kit with soccer cleats, socks, and shin guards. We also ask that each player bring a size three soccer ball (If you need to purchase a ball or additional gear, the ALBION Team Store sells certain items for players). ALBION Hawaii Square Store
Parent Expectations: Parent involvement is sometimes crucial for developing a long-lasting love for soccer in the ALBION Keiki Academy program. If your child struggles to participate in a game or activity, we encourage you to step in and help out. We also hope that you communicate any concerns or issues with our program. We strive to ensure that all of our members have a positive experience.
